Welcome to Vamonos Software

In the last 15 years, I’ve seen the same problems everywhere I’ve been. Simple problems which waste large amounts of time on a regular basis. Some of these problems have existing solutions, but they can consume more time than the problem – steep learning curves with significant installation and configuration requirements don’t help! Vamonos Software wants to provide simple solutions to simple problems – aiming to make you more productive.

We’ve all seen how simple tools can make a huge difference to our productivity:

• Junit – helps me verify my code did what I thought it would, without running up the whole application and debugging it.
• Selenium – drives my browser for me to verify my web applications behave as expected in a fraction of the time it would take manually.
• Spring – reduces the amount of code I have to write and solves many integration problems
• Grails – makes building web applications fun and fast!

These are only a few – there are many more, alternatives to the ones above, and equivalents for different platforms. It would take many books to do them all justice.

Vamonos Software is here to fill some of the gaps – to provide products that make you more efficient, with easy installation and configuration. The first in what we hope to be a successful line of products will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
